The GA Foundation is a team dedicated to rescuing children aged as young as newborns from the heartbreaking world of violent sexual assault, torture, child prostitution and sex slavery. Additionally we rescue, re house, educate and completely support young girls who have been victims of violent sexual abuse and rape, many of which are pregnant from as young as 9 years old. The children remain in our care permanently, and finish their schooling under our proven education program established in 2006, and built by Agnes Pareyio, Chief Executive Advisor.
The majority of the children we rescue from the poorest regions in Kenya have been subjected to systematic rape, torture, slavery, prostitution, FGM and forced marriage. With ancient tribal traditions maintained, abortion strictly illegal and punishable by life in prison, and with contraception widely unused or rejected on religious grounds, countless child pregnancies continue to occur.
It is our mission to intervene in these situations and prevent as many children as possible from having to live in this horrendous environment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the rehabilitation we provide for these children is as effective as possible to ensure they never have to re-experience the heinous crimes they have previously endured.
My team is comprised of experts in the fields of medicine, law, nursing, psychology, social work and education. Once the children are physically well and strong enough, we ensure they can complete (or commence) their education so that they will be able to provide for themselves as adults.
Our commitment is long term and will change countless lives.
