Our rescue missions and need to provide safe housing and rehabilitation for violently abused children is at unimaginable levels. There is a constant bombardment of acute cases of children as young as newborns needing a safe house and in house treatment so they can have an optimum recovery. There are 213 children on the list waiting for our centre to open, but it cannot be done without financial support! Some examples of the cases are our youngest is 19 months old, she was raped and needs acute care as do all the others. A three year old girl has been raped and burnt alive, she urgently needs a secure location with around the clock care for her burns and her trauma. Another little boy who is 9 years old has been gang taped in the slum. He has severe injuries and has only has some of the reconstructive surgeries he requires. The list is endless. PLEASE HELP. We need $28,000 to open at the end of March. This will completely furnish the facility, pay for essentials such as food and security, rent of the premises, and the most basic fit out to accomodate we hope over 40 children at a time. This will also cover our urgent medical bills and pay for our live in medical staff who will reside on the compound 24/7. This centre is the in between home that is crucial to provide the best post trauma care (physical and psychiatric) post trauma.
Once recovered, the children will be able to enter our second program, and attend school indefinitely.
